Le Celtique is, at its heart, the story of a culinary passion embodied by Bertrand, a warm-hearted Breton who fell head over heels for Thailand and its captivating flavours. Since settling on the island of Phuket in 2001, this devoted food lover has created far more than a simple restaurant — a true sanctuary where France and Thailand meet in a harmony as surprising as it is delicious.

After running their first restaurant together in Kata for eight years, Bertrand and his wife Lek made the bold decision to relocate to Nai Harn, a peaceful and unspoilt neighbourhood well away from the tourist bustle.

The menu at Le Celtique reflects its creator perfectly: generous, bold, and utterly sincere. It takes you on a true gastronomic journey, moving gracefully between the exotic, fragrant flavours of Thailand and the great classics of French cuisine — a rare duality, handled with real flair.

Bertrand takes great pride in working with exceptional produce, most of it carefully imported from France, New Zealand, and Australia. Every dish is a declaration of love for French cuisine, prepared with both rigour and passion.
