On its western coast, dreamy bays follow one after the other. All are equally splendid, each with its own particularity. Although Patong, Karon, Kata, and Kamala nowadays live solely off tourism and offer a multitude of accommodation possibilities, in Surin, Bang Tao, Nai Harn, and Mai Khao one can still find fishing villages and orchards that hide luxurious hotels more conducive to family vacations. Whichever beach hosts your stay with us, there will be numerous opportunities to indulge yourself, from international restaurants offering a mix of cuisines from all over the world, nightclubs with varied shows, and trendier Beach Clubs where you dance by the sea in the mild tropical night.
The eastern shore of Phuket, covered with mangroves and lacking beaches, is favored by expatriates, long-term foreign residents who prefer to live quietly, away from the touristy parties of the west coast. It is here that lovers of Phuket, who after spending their vacations there every year during their working life, decide to stay for good upon reaching retirement age.

Phuket offers a lifestyle designed to make life as pleasant as possible...
Through an original blend of the languid simplicity of the tropics and the technology of the modern world, our island offers its visitors and residents infrastructure perfectly tailored to everyone’s needs: glittering shopping centers where products from all over the world can be found; top-tier international schools, often with French language instruction, that prepare our children to successfully navigate a multicultural world; state-of-the-art hospitals that, beyond their ordinary consultations and English-speaking translators, offer wellness therapies and body care programs born from the union of traditional Asian medicine with the latest high-tech advancements from Western science.
The islands and beaches of Phuket have a special appeal for scuba diving enthusiasts. Whether you seek a day trip in Phuket or a dive at Ko Phi Phi & Racha, the options are plentiful. The Andaman coast of Thailand offers fabulous landscapes, sparkling beaches, and astonishing undersea experiences for divers. Phuket is also known for its multiple marinas nestled in its eastern coves, where a yacht or a more traditional local vessel will take you on a cruise around the nearby islands. The seabed of Phuket is so acclaimed that a diving enthusiast cannot truly be satisfied until they have explored these waters. It is the island with golf courses weaving through the hills, with the smiles of its inhabitants whom you meet whilst taking the time to sip a coconut or eat a chicken skewer by the roadside… Phuket, a paradise.

Customs, history, and culture
The Two Heroines of Thalang (Salang)
The story of the two heroines of Salang is intimately linked to the history of Phuket. Indeed, the reason why Phuket defines itself as a tourist island is based on the glory of two sisters who managed to repel a Burmese invasion in the 18th century. The bronze statue of the two sisters, cast by the National Academy of Fine Arts in Bangkok and reassembled at the roundabout near Salang in 1966, is perhaps the most photographed monument in Phuket.
Manners and traditions
It is very important to have some understanding of local customs and traditions in order to avoid any misunderstandings and to fully enjoy Thai culture.

Phuket at a Glance
In the south of the country, the mountainous island of Phuket stretches close to the coast, in the magical Andaman Sea. It has 17 municipalities and around a hundred villages. The western coast is home to hotels and restaurants along the most beautiful beaches of the province.
The villages of Patong and Karon are bustling in the hollow of three bays: Bang Tao, Nai Harn, and Kata. As in the rest of the country, the inhabitants of Phuket Province are predominantly Buddhist, but there is also a significant proportion of Muslims (around 18%+). Its main residents are Thais from the mainland who came to trade, Chinese drawn by the significant tin mines, Muslims from Malaysia who came mainly to work in rubber plantations, and finally the sea Gypsies called Chao Nam, who are believed to be the island’s oldest inhabitants, living there for a millennium or more.
Phuket is today one of the most sought-after exotic destinations, thanks to its climate and rapidly growing infrastructure. It’s the perfect place to spend your holidays and a wise location for investors. Have a great stay!
