Custom Furniture in Phuket
3LH, the workshop inside Indo Construction

A build is rarely won or lost on the structure. Once the walls are up and the roof is on, it is the furniture, the windows and the finishes that separate an adequate project from a genuinely finished one. That is the territory of 3LH, the youngest of Indo Construction’s three companies, set up in Phuket in 2009.
A workshop born from a site problem
After years coordinating projects for I.C.E. and I.C.P., the pattern was obvious: custom furniture and aluminium joinery are the items most often handed to outside subcontractors, with the delays and the near-enough measurements that tend to follow.
Creating 3LH was a decision to own that stage rather than keep depending on third parties for the elements that largely decide how a villa, a restaurant or an office reads when it is done.

Furniture built around the room, not the catalogue
3LH designs and manufactures to the exact dimensions of a space, its use and the style the owner is after: kitchens, fitted dressing rooms, bathroom units, and the more particular pieces a restaurant or a shop needs. The team starts from the real constraints of the room rather than from a range.
That matters most where space is tight or the architecture is awkward, which in Phuket is most places worth building. Materials, timbers and finishes are chosen with the client, against one test: furniture that lasts, and that still matches the original intention once it is installed.
Aluminium, and why it matters here
The second half of 3LH is the manufacture of aluminium windows, doors and frames. The material suits the Phuket climate unusually well — far more resistant to humidity and corrosion than the alternatives, and permissive about design.
Each unit is built to the precise dimensions of its opening, which gives a clean fit and avoids the sealing and water-ingress problems that appear when standard joinery is adapted after the fact to an existing structure. On an island where the monsoon tests every frame each year, that precision is visible over time rather than on day one.

The small jobs too
Beyond furniture and aluminium, 3LH takes on the one-off work: mirrors, marble, repairs and everyday fixes. It sounds minor until you have tried to find a reliable tradesman for a single task in Phuket — the searching routinely takes longer than the job.
A workshop that comes to the site
This is what really separates 3LH: a mobile fabrication workshop that can set up on site. Instead of delivering finished pieces designed far from the building, the team adjusts, reworks and manufactures where the work is.
It changes the character of a build. The last-minute alterations that are unavoidable in construction become a few hours’ work, rather than a re-order and three weeks of delay.
What makes 3LH different
• A genuine mobile workshop that sets up directly on your site
• Adjustments made on the spot, without waiting on off-site fabrication
• One accountable team, from furniture and joinery to the smallest finishing touch

Getting in touch
3LH works both inside a full build run by I.C.P. and as a standalone job on a finished building. A site visit and accurate measurements are the starting point of any serious quotation — and the point at which you find out what is possible and what is not.
The group profile, completed projects and a contact form are on the Indo Construction page, and more trades and builders are in our Phuket property and construction section.
