The ILIAD Catamarans has once again proven its excellence, as the ILIAD 53F power catamaran earns the prestigious title of 2024 Multihull of the Year in the MultiPower category.
This impressive flybridge motor yacht stood out amongst esteemed nominees from long-established brands, showcasing its superior quality and features.
Prestigious Award Ceremony
The awards were organized by Multihulls World/Multicoques Magazine, with winners revealed during a special ceremony on April 3 at the La Grande Motte International Multihull Show in France.

ILIAD Catamarans’ general manager, Michael “Nod” Crook, expressed excitement over the accolade, highlighting how the ILIAD 53F has been embraced by a global audience since its 2023 launch.
“We’re thrilled that the ILIAD 53F has been recognized in these prestigious awards, particularly as ILIAD Catamarans is still a relatively young brand in the power catamaran market with our first model launched in 2019,” Michael said.
The ILIAD 53 Series
Part of the shipyard’s ILIAD 53 Series, the ILIAD 53F is joined by the ILIAD 53S sedan version and the ILIAD 53E electric/hybrid version.
Each model shares the same main hull design and luxurious interiors, offering configurations to suit diverse cruising and lifestyle needs. The range extends further to include the ILIAD 62 and the newly introduced ILIAD 75 luxury power catamaran.
Expanding to New Markets
In response to strong market demand, ILIAD Catamarans expanded into the North American market in 2024, where it quickly gained traction among US buyers. The ILIAD 53F model made an impressive debut, selling swiftly at the 2024 Miami International Boat Show.

Redefining excellence in catamaran design, the ILIAD 53F boasts one of the highest bridgedeck clearances in its class. Its high freeboard ensures smooth and comfortable cruising, even in challenging offshore conditions.
The interior offers generous living space, featuring a forward lounge, an internal helm station, and dining for 6-8 people. Panoramic windows fill the space with natural light and offer spectacular views from every angle.
Luxury and Comfort Onboard
Designed with stylish entertaining in mind, the galley is equipped with premium European appliances. Spacious benches, a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, and generous storage space cater perfectly to extended cruising adventures.
Accommodation is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with the master suite occupying an entire hull and featuring elegant amenities.
Exceptional Outdoor Experience
The ILIAD 53F presents exceptional outdoor spaces for relaxation and entertainment, with a cockpit that includes a bar area and dining setting for up to ten guests.
The flybridge offers unparalleled use of space and comfort, and the tender platform is ideal for safe sea access and sunbathing.
Performance and Specifications
Powered by 440hp Volvo or Yanmar engines, the ILIAD 53F delivers a top speed of 21 knots under light conditions and covers more than 2,500 nautical miles at cruising speeds. An upgrade to Cummins 550hp engines is available for enhanced performance.
