Schools, built to outlast their first intake
A school imposes its own demands — safety, durability, and enough flexibility to absorb whatever a campus becomes in twenty years. That was the brief on both phases of BCIS International School, a project taken from design through to completion.
Work of that kind says something specific about a contractor: beyond the villa and the restaurant, this is a team that can deliver public buildings meant to stay in service for decades.
Hospitality, where there is no room to be late
Hotels and restaurants are among the least forgiving sectors to build for: tight programmes, high finish expectations, and operational constraints that have to be designed in from the start. The group has real depth here — the Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort, the façade renovation of the Novotel in Vientiane, Laos, and several projects for Club Med restaurants.
On the restaurant side, Metzo Restaurant, both Taste Restaurant sites, Davinci Bistro in Rawai and the Nikorn Marine Restaurant renovation call for a particular skill: fitting out an occupied site, where the build has to work around a kitchen that is still serving.
Villas and residences, the core of the work
This is what the group is best known for on the island. La Colline, Golden Nakara, Karon Heights Residences, Villa Soi Yotsaneh, Villa Leam Sak Orchid, Mr Peter’s residence, and the renovations of Fisherman Way Villa and Baan Kata are among the projects of recent years.
Each residential job asks for something different. Some are designed from scratch alongside the architect; others mean bringing an existing property back to life without losing what made it worth buying — the harder exercise of the two, and the more revealing. On the shared-residential side, The Serenity Condominium, By The Road Condominium and United Place show the same discipline applied to buildings with many owners.
Beyond Phuket: industrial and commercial
The group is rooted in Phuket, but its experience is not confined to the island. The Perrier Vittel (Thailand) factory, the Saim Table Ware premises, the JMB office fit-out and an agricultural project for T.G.B. Trading in Chiang Rai are industrial and commercial sites, a long way from tourism and residential work.
That range is inherited directly from the group’s own history — a company built to design a project in one place and deliver it in another.
