Our partners can offer our clients the best coverage for their vehicles, and ensure the processing of their compensation claims in a manner that is both efficient and professional.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Below you will find an overview of the different types of vehicle insurance available in Thailand:&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Mandatory Insurance (CTPL):<\/strong>It is the minimum insurance to which the owner of any motorized vehicle must subscribe. This insurance covers only bodily injuries or death. Liability is not covered at all. Given the limited scope of the coverage, it is really not advisable to drive a vehicle insured in this way.<\/p>\n<p>The following insurance policies can be taken out on a voluntary basis:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third Class :<\/strong> this type of insurance is comparable to the third-party coverage in your country of origin. This insurance covers damages caused to a third party&#8217;s property and their medical expenses. Moreover, this coverage includes the medical expenses of the driver and passengers of your own car, and the costs of a potential temporary release on bail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second :<\/strong> this insurance offers the same coverage as third-class, but also includes theft and fire concerning your own vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 + 1:<\/strong> This insurance provides you with the same coverage as third-class, but also covers damages to your own vehicle if they result from an accident involving another vehicle and if the identity of the driver of that vehicle is known. This insurance does not apply when no other vehicle is involved or when the identity of the driver of the other vehicle involved is unknown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 + 1:<\/strong> This insurance covers the same risks as the 3+1 insurance, but also includes coverage for fire and theft of your car. This type of insurance is the one that most closely matches the comprehensive, all-risk insurance available in our home countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Class :<\/strong> A first-class insurance policy is the best alternative, and it&#8217;s relatively inexpensive. However, it&#8217;s important to check its maximum coverage.
